What is Taggiemap?
A Taggie is a small 3D-printed keepsake with an NFC chip sealed inside. Hold your phone to it and a little door opens: a profile, a spot on a living world map, and a place among everyone else who found one too. It is not a gadget or an ad. It is a way to say I was here, to see who else was, and to actually meet them.

No app to install, no account required. Scan it and you're in.
Meet people, not profiles
The heart of Taggiemap is socializing. Find other Taggies on the map, connect with the people behind them, and see who from your connections is going to the same event, so you can actually go together.
A rave calendar close to the scene
Taggiemap is also a rave calendar, built close to the Munich scene: parties, club nights and open airs in one place. Every event gets its own page, its own chat with everyone attending, and a shared photo gallery once it's over. There is also a DJ tracker: it keeps a record of which artists played at the events you went to, and how many of their sets you've caught over time.
Part of why we built this is that we want to see the Munich techno scene bloom again. Too much of it is announced on Instagram only. Here you can stay up to date without an Instagram account.
Your data
Privacy matters a lot to us, and we built Taggiemap to ask as little of you as possible. Your name can be a made-up one, always. Your location can be just a city, not a pin on your house. Browsing the map and the calendar, looking at profiles, none of that needs anything real from you.
The one place that changes is event chat. To join a conversation with other attendees, we need to know who you actually are, only so we can step in if someone behaves badly in a space other people have to feel safe in. Outside of chat, you stay exactly as anonymous as you like.
What's next
Taggiemap is still growing. The more events you attend, the clearer the picture of which artists you keep showing up for, and the more there is to discover on the map and among the people you connect with.
